COVID-19 Important Information

What to do if your child or family member has COVID 19 symptoms or are returning from a Country on the quarantine list

Coronavirus symptoms are:

  • High temperature
  • New continuous cough
  • Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

If your child has one or more of these symptoms you need to book a COVID 19 test. Your child will not be able to attend school until they have had a NEGATIVE test result.

If your child tests POSITIVE for COVID 19 please inform the school immediately. We will inform Public Health England (PHE) and they will then contact you. We will then follow their advice in relation to your child’s bubble in School.

If any family member has the above symptoms a COVID 19 test must be arranged and the whole household must self-isolate until they get their result. Please follow the PHE guidance if the result it POSITIVE.

If your family has returned from a country that is on the quarantine list you will need to self-isolate and cannot attend school until the quarantine period is complete. Please inform school with the reason for your child's absence as per our attendance Policy.

"There are two gifts we should give our children. One is roots, and the other is wings."
